CrossFit® is a growing sport that has gained attention for its diverse exercises, which differ from those found in traditional gyms. These exercises require a certain level of strength and a good range of joint mobility; if performed without proper preparation and guidance, they can lead to injuries. Consequently, it is important to incorporate preventive care alongside training for this discipline. The objective of this integrative review is to demonstrate the importance and efficacy of physical therapy in preventing injuries among CrossFit practitioners. The results indicate that techniques such as myofascial release combined with cupping therapy, joint mobility training, chiropractic care, and self-mobilization of the ankle are effective and can, therefore, assist in the prevention and treatment of injuries in those who practice this sport.
